Ride to the Sky

One of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the southeast and home to Tennessee’s own Calf Killer brewing company located on the ride route. Come experience over 4,000 feet of elevation on scenic low volume roads that showcase the upper Cumberland and Cumberland plateau region. With a party at the end sponsored by Calf Killer brewing company. Live music and hand crafted BBQ post ride. Please register atwww.usacycling.com and be sure to register early.

Both the 22 mile and the 62 mile ride are designed to show the beauty of the Upper Cumberland region.

62 & 22 mile routes start together and ride together for the first 10 miles. The 22 mile route will be challenging but rewarding with beautiful scenery and well manned rest stops. The 62 mile after splitting off from the 22 mile group will start their first climb of the day. After this climb the route winds around the country side to the 2nd rest stop at Calfkiller Brewery. After this stop riders will ride along the countryside through rolling back roads till they reach Calfkiller Hwy where the rollers get a little more challenging until you reach the second climb of the day. This one is a long beautiful climb that will take you to the top and the edge of the Cumberland Plateau. From here it’s all down hill…kind-of.

Both rides will return to the starting point where we will have live music, BBQ and drinks.
